So many plays, so little time!

Residencies typically conclude with a full-scale musical theater production. That production can be done in a gym, cafeteria or a very large bell tower - we provide everything: costumes, make up, props, script and music for the production (Including royalties) - prices vary according to number for days in the residency, and the show. Buren Martin, Dorothy Martin and The Baillie Players are all three on the approved artist roster with the SC Arts Commission.

The Nutcracker (musical, all ages) - This original adaptation of the beloved children's story follows Marie's adventures with the Nutcracker Prince, The Rat King and others.
Practically Peter Pan (musical, all ages) - In our own take on the classic tale of the boy who could fly, we introduce our audiences to a few characters they've never met before ... like Chief Chili Dog of the Wienerbun tribe.
Oliver Twist - With a Twist (musical, all ages) - We didn't like the way the book or the movie ended, so we gave the story a new ending and a couple of new characters we think you'll find very amusing.
Rudolph Rides Again (musical, all audiences) - We bring a middle-aged, grumpy Rudolph back from retirement to rescue Christmas from a band of ne'er do well reindeer.
Romeo & Juliet (drama, high school) - One of our most well-received shows. With apologies to the Bard, we've shortened and simplified this story of young love brought to a bitter end.
The Taming of the Shrew (comedy, high school) - Boiled down to what we consider to be its essential parts, this generally faithful distillation of Shakespeare's story gives new meaning to the phrase "love hurts".
The Price and the Pauper (musical, middle and high school) - Calypso cannibals, a royal whipping boy and a chorus that lives to change his majesty's socks. Not the Mark Twain story you remember, perhaps, but loads of fun just the same.
A Midsummer Night's Dream (musical, middle and high school) - We thought the star-crossed lovers were boring in the Bard's original, so we shoved them into the background to make more room for the rustics and the faeries.
The Ransom (musical, middle and high school) - Based on The Ransom of Red Chief, our story focuses on the importance of being nice to people ... and listening to what those who are important to you have to say.
Humbug! (musical, all audiences) - Story by Dickens, music by us. A great holiday diversion for folks who've seen all the movie versions too many times.

... and more!
