The Baillie Players is a professional touring theater company based in Brunson, South Carolina. Our parent company, Southeastern Theatrical Productions, was formed in 1981 in an effort (which continues to this day) to deliver live theater to non-traditional theater spaces in areas where live theater is seldom seen.

The "product"
Our repertoire includes Broadway comedies and musicals, as well as classical and original works performed for both school and community groups throughout the United States. Our school performance package, negotiable to some extent, typically consists of a performance preceded by an in-school rehearsal period during which students from the host school are prepared to appear in the actual production.
The in-school company-supervised portion of the rehearsal period consists of one or more weeks of four-hour days. The 20 to 40 students trained to participate in the public performance are introduced to the basics of acting — movement, characterization, diction, etc. and, where applicable, singing, makeup and costuming.
